ملخص الموقف:
This position will be responsible for contract development including ensuring the right terms and conditions for each operation included in each contract as well as contract management and payment processing. S/He will be responsible for two officers in Khartoum and one Officer in Port Sudan to support the unit in delivering its accountabilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce Quarterly Updates on market structure and dynamics for the sectors that DAL FOOD Logistics obtains services from eg. Transport, material handling, fleet services, warehouse services, cleaning and waste disposal, warehouse services.
- Develop and draft robust contracts for the required services that are aligned with the DF’ Logistics’ operational requirements, ensuring they have the right terms and conditions and adapt them with annexes or amendments ( if necessary) and ensure the contracts are legally compliant and signed with the respective party.
- Train users of particular contracts on managing the performance of the 3rd party service providers within the framework of the contract- eg. Warehouse operations staff on mechanized MH, transport staff for transporters, maintenance controllers for maintenance services.
- Ensuring payments are processed on time for the service providers and ensure deductions for service failures are deducted from their invoices in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
- Advice the responsible manager on the contract continuation, termination or amendment of the contract with written justification for the area affected.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in any related discipline of Knowledge.
- More than 6 years of work experience, in a related field.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledgeable of the field of logistic contact Management.
- Ability to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.
- Ability to work under pressure.
