Position summary:



Play integral part in the strategy formulation activities. Take the lead in implementing the Engineering Division Strategic and Operational initiatives through proper planning and evaluation of projectsactivities. They maintain control over the project schedule, budget and risk. Supervise and mentor junior staff for both project and career growth and identify areas for development and growth.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:



Project Management
• Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change. 
Project  budget control
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. 
Communication
• Maintain effective communication with the project external/internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle in order to gain their buy in & support
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 
Team performance & Development 
• Accomplish the projects’ HR needs through selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Leading the project team to ensure that team members are motivated, delivery at high level of performance & career progression.
• Identify development needs for the project team members.
Teamwork
• Encourage and demonstrate teamwork to ensure that team harmony & synergy is in place. 
Organizational Responsibilities
• Work closely with PMO management to highlight necessary training to the project key users in order to ensure smooth project operation and handover.



Minimum Qualification & Experience:



Qualifications:
• Bachelor  degree in Engineering  or closely related Field
• MBA/Masters Degree in related Management Practice
• PMP Certification/ International Project Management Accreditation
Experience:
• Minimum 6 year of professional experience with at least 3 year experience in project management in Balanced Matrixed Environment.
• Middle east experience
